COconut French toast

Why not make breakfast an unforgettable one with our Coconut French Toast? Classic & delicious. what makes this a fan favorite is that it's transformative. Just Add some berries and bananas topped with coconut flakes and you got yourself the perfect morning breakfast. Swap the berries for Nutmeg & Cinnamon and you have a delicious fall breakfast everyone can enjoy!

Ingridents 

Fruits and Oatmeal Breakfast
  • 1/2 C. Coconut milk

  • 2 tsp. of nutritional yeast 

  • 1 tsp. of Agave Nectar

  • 4 Tbsp. Coconut flakes (Reserve 2 Tbsp. for garnish)

  • 1 tsp. of Tapioca Flour/Cassava Flour  

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 C. of mixed berries for garnish

Instructions

  • Add 1 Tbsp. of coconut oil to a hot pan (10" or larger)

  • Whisk all ingredients in a medium bowl 

  • Add into a shallow pie pan or dish for easy dunking

  • Dunk each slice into the mixture, coating the entire slice and letting it absorb the liquid

  • Once the pan is spongy, quickly move it to the hot pan

  • Cook evenly on both sides(usually 2-3 minutes depending on your stove)

 

CHEF NOTES

  • Coconut milk can be replaced with any other nut milk

  • Tapioca flour/ starch can be replaced with cassava root flour. It is used to thicken the mixture.
