Sticky Pad Thai

Serves: 3-4 hungry people


Ingredients For Noodles


  • Head of Cabbage: ½ Cut Into Ribbon Sizes

  • Carrot Shaved: 1 Large

  • Brown Rice Noodles: 4-8 oz. (1 BOX)

Ingredients for peanut sauce

  • Peanut Butter: 3 Tbsp.

  • Dry Garlic Powder: 1 Tbsp.  

  • Red Onion Chopped: ½ Cup

  • Liquid Amino Acids (SOY SAUCE): 2 Tbsp.

  • Dried Chili Powder (OPTIONAL): 1 tsp.

  • Lime Juice: ½ Lime (3 Tbsp.)  


  • Blender or Food Processor

  • Medium Saute/Frying Pan     

  • Spatula or Mixing Spoon

  • Medium Soaking Bowl (FOR NOODLES)

  • Measuring Cups/Spoons

  • Storage Container

Instruction for Soaking The Noodles


  1. Soak Rice noodles in warm water for 5-7 minutes, ensuring they are completely submerged


Instruction for Sauteed Vegetables

(While the noodles are soaking)


  1. In a saute or fry pan on medium heat, lightly coat the bottom of the pan with water and place the cabbage along with the shaved carrots inside, allowing the carrot and cabbage juices to marinade together

  2. Cover the pan and let cook for 3 to 5 min.

  3. An about 5 mins the noodles will be ready to be cut in half. You can use kitchen scissors

  4. Place the warm wet noodles into the pan with your cabbage and carrot mixture

  5. Turn the stove to medium-low, Add a 1 Tbsp. more of water on top and mix together. Allow cooking slowly




Instruction for making the Peanut Sauce:

(Whilst the noodles are cooking you can start to prepare the peanut sauce)


  1. Simply add all the ingredients for the peanut sauce together into a blender or a food processor. Let the food processor/blender mix for about 1 minute

  2. You want the mixture to be somewhat of a watery paste so not too thick, so if you find that the mixture is too Pasty Just add a small amount of water

  3. After the peanut sauce is completely mixed go ahead and pour all of the sauce directly on top of your noodles!

  4. Allow the noodles to be completely covered with the peanut sauce. Mix them thoroughly together


Place in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!


Chef Notes


  1. White rice noodles or Brown Rice can be used

  2. For added flavor replace the water in step 6 for coconut milk

  3. You can replace the Peanut butter with Almond or Cashew butter
