VEGAN IN 2024 "JUST MAKES SENSE"
 

In the dynamic landscape of 2024, a plethora of companies worldwide, both Vegan and Non-vegan, such as Sweet Earth (https://www.goodnes.com/sweet-earth/products/buffalo-style-chikn-burrito/), have forged a bridge between our recent past and the future, erasing excuses one by one. Human confidence has surged, fueled by the conviction that taste need not be compromised, silencing the inner voice that whispers, "I know I should strive harder."

The journey began when my family embraced Veganism, a path fraught with daily adjustments and challenges. A few months into our exploration of Plant-Based cooking, we founded The Vegan Gents. Years later, the buzz surrounding The Impossible Burger's launch resonated deeply with us. As purveyors of homemade Vegan dishes from scratch, we eagerly anticipated the impact on our repertoire, seamlessly complementing creations like Tacos, Lasagna, and Stuffed Shells.

The astonishing resemblance of the Impossible Burger to its "familiar" counterpart, both in texture and flavor, took us by surprise. Fast forward to 2020, a year that brought stillness to the world, compelling people to reconsider their dietary and exercise habits. With more time on our hands and food readily available, we collectively experienced an increase in fat intake and a decline in physical activity. It dawned on us how a healthier lifestyle could have been accessible to countless individuals.

2021 arrives, and as the world steps outside and reengages, introspection takes hold. We scrutinize our impact, both positive and negative, on the planet and each other. Many of us grapple with feelings of shame and guilt, but it's evident that with ample resources, this reckoning was long overdue. The quest for intentionality and ethical choices, for ourselves and the Earth, intensifies, and Veganism emerges as a promising answer.

is now smoother than ever. I eagerly anticipate hearing about the collective challenges and triumphs we will face as we embark on a journey toward a conscious, deliberate existence, where Veganism aligns perfectly with logic and purpose.
